Introduction

DevKnife is a collection of handy tools for developers, bundled into one native macOS app.
Instead of switching between websites, CLI utilities, or separate apps, you can open DevKnife and handle common tasks in one place.

What you can do with DevKnife

DevKnife comes with a wide range of tools built in:

• JSON Editor & Formatter: Easily format, validate, and edit JSON data.
• Encoder & Decoder: Convert between human-readable and encoded formats (Base64, URL, HTML).
• Converter: Convert data between multiple formats like JSON, YAML, TOML, XML, and CSV.
• Domain & IP WHOIS: View detailed ownership and registration info for domains and IPs.
• Network Speed Test: Measure download, upload, and latency in real time.
• Color Picker: Select and convert colors across HEX, RGB, and HSL.

DevKnife works completely offline and collects nothing.

• No telemetry
• No analytics
• No background connections while you work

Your data stays on your Mac and never leaves your device.
The app connects to our servers only during the first trial or license activation.

Update checks are performed via Sparkle to fetch the latest release info. These checks do not transmit your documents or usage data.
